Cliffe House lies in the village of St Margarets at Cliffe, just four miles from Dover Seafront with its busy cross-channel ferry port.  The ancient Cinque Port towns of Deal and Sandwich are within easy reach, while the cathedral city of Canterbury is only 18 miles away (an excellent Park and Ride system operates here).  St Margarets Bay (shown in the photo above) is a very short distance from Cliffe House.

Whether you intend walking on the famous White Cliffs or visiting some of the many nearby historic sites, at the end of each day we are sure you will find No. 4 Cliffe House to be a restful retreat on your return.

Local places of interest include Dover Castle with its Underground Secret Wartime Tunnels, Deal Castle and Walmer Castle, residence of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports.

There are many golf courses within easy reach, and if you would like to venture further afield, why not take a daytrip to France (remember to bring your passports).  There are many good pubs and restaurants both in St Margarets, the local villages and towns.
